Dr. Lewis directs the organization’s Joint Commission accreditation, compliance with the New Jersey Department of Children and Families’ contracted outcomes and compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). She is responsible for behavioral health metrics and quality indicators for youth from admission through discharge and up to three years after treatment completion and she oversees the formation and implementation of multiple electronic client records systems. Kathy created and oversees the Research Internship Program where over 100 undergraduate interns from 30 schools in the northeast have been trained in applied research.
In addition to her role as the Director of Quality Assurance & Improvement, Dr. Lewis served as assistant professor at the State University of New York at New Paltz, delivered leadership development training at Rutgers University School of Nursing and provides organizational development and program evaluation consultation to behavioral health and human service organizations domestically and internationally.
Dr. Kathy Lewis completed her graduate training in Organizational Psychology at Rutgers University Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology. She has over 25 years of experience working in organizational and leadership development.
