As Director of Development and a member of the Leadership Team, David oversees the growth of all efforts to raise the resources needed to support the Mission of Bonnie Brae. During the past six years, David has helped Board and Staff Leadership make significant gains in fundraising results. Presently, in addition to leading the normal cycle of board and major donor cultivation, events, appeals and grants requests, the Development Department has embarked on the most ambitious capital campaign in its history, in the attempt to raise the resources necessary to build a premier family center and a state of the art cottage.
A graduate of Wake Forest and Drew Universities, Princeton and St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminaries, and the Rector of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Randolph, NJ, David brings a long history serving at risk youth in direct care, managing others in development, as well as experience leading faith communities and teaching at local universities. Prior to his tenure at Bonnie Brae, David spent 11 years serving homeless youth at Covenant House New Jersey both in direct care and development capacities. He appreciates the ‘strengths-based’ philosophy of care and amazing breadth of residential, educational and clinical services offered by Bonnie Brae, and Bonnie Brae’s commitment to serve the entire family.
