Carmine Trento is the Director of Facilities at Bonnie Brae, where he oversees campus operations, maintenance, food services, and support services across our 100-acre campus and multiple community-based residential homes. He is responsible for infrastructure reliability, regulatory compliance, life-safety systems, and the overall safety and functionality of the organization’s physical environment.
Carmine studied Business Administration at Fordham University and brings a strong commercial construction background to his role. Prior to entering nonprofit residential services, he owned and operated a successful commercial general contracting company for nearly ten years, managing large-scale renovation and construction projects, supervising subcontractors, and overseeing budgeting, scheduling, and code compliance. His hands-on knowledge of building systems and project management informs a practical, solutions-focused approach to facilities leadership.
At Bonnie Brae, he leads capital improvement initiatives, preventative maintenance programs, emergency preparedness planning, and campus safety efforts. He works closely with leadership to support long-term facility planning and operational efficiency, with a focus on risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment for the youth and staff served.
