Sledding

From CEO, Bill Powers:  When Judge Osborne purchased our current location in Liberty Corner, a working farm of more than 360 acres, I am certain that he was not particularly searching for the ideal sledding hill.  And yet we have just such a hill.  It begins in the field next to the old barn and heads straight downhill to the pond, where thoughtful people have cleverly positioned hay bales to prevent people from ending up on or in the frozen lake.  And this year we have snow, lots of snow. So on Friday afternoon I went to check on our sledding hill.  Perhaps inspired by my presence a recreation counselor dutifully recited all of the known safety rules for sledding.  All of which were broken within a few minutes of the beginning of the session.  After a few minutes of watching the fun I was convinced, some would say pushed, onto a plastic saucer and sent careening down the hill.  I made it about half way down before I fell off in a very ungraceful heap.  The boys and staff enjoyed this immensely.  Winter on the farm!   Sledding #2Sledding with BillSledding #4Sledding #3
