October 10th: Grand Opening Celebration & Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

On Thursday, October 10th at 3:00PM Bonnie Brae will host a Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting Celebration for the new Osborne Family Resource Center and Conscious Kids Cottage.

The celebration will take place at Bonnie Brae's Liberty Corner Campus at 3415 Valley Road and will include an official Ribbon Cutting, Naming Ceremony, Refreshments, and Tours.

Bonnie Brae began its second century with a bold vision to transform more lives-- not only of at-risk New Jersey families and youth currently eligible for Bonnie Brae's intensive services-- but the lives of families in the Somerset area and beyond who are experiencing mental health and addictions challenges.

Named for Bonnie Brae's founding family, The Osborne Family Resource Center will provide Bonnie Brae with the space to maximize progress for each young man and his family while also offering Bonnie Brae the opportunity to expand into the community, helping families struggling with the myriad of issues Bonnie Brae has expertise in treating. The first floor has a large open area for young men and their families to visit comfortably with one another and enjoy meals together. There are four private areas for family visitation, as well as family therapy rooms on the main and upper levels. Warm, inviting space in the Admissions area will allow us to better welcome young men into the community during an often-traumatic time in their lives. The lower level has a training space where Bonnie Brae will facilitate the more than 200 trainings per year Bonnie Brae provides for its staff, as well trainings for other providers and community partners. Finally, the Family Resource Center will also include Bonnie Brae Legacy Space, which will serve as a center for our alumni and their families.

Named for Conscious Kids transformational commitment to Bonnie Brae, the Conscious Kids Cottage has been designed to offer the highest quality living environment to maximize positive growth for each young man. The Cottage has a large space for activities, 12 private rooms for additional residents, a clinician’s office, and two laundry rooms. Two porches will allow our young men to enjoy our beautiful campus.
