Matthew Redling Joins Bonnie Brae’s Board of Trustees

Bonnie Brae’s Chief Executive Officer, Paul Rieger and Board of Trustees President, Robert Courtemanche are pleased to announce that Matthew Redling of Basking Ridge has joined the Bonnie Brae Board of Trustees.
A long-time resident of Somerset County, Matt became connected to Bonnie Brae through his wife, Tracy, who came for a campus tour and was instantly inspired by Bonnie Brae’s mission of empowering youth and families to achieve small victories every day through comprehensive care and education. Both Matt and Tracy have a passionate, faith-driven commitment to helping and serving others. Together they oversee their family foundation, The Footprints Foundation, which is dedicated to “supporting self-sufficiency through the hard times in life and carrying individuals through temporary financial difficulties.”
Matt is hoping to help make a difference for the at-risk boys and young men served by Bonnie Brae, “Tracy and I make every effort to live a purpose-driven life. We’ve both been very blessed and we believe in paying it forward and helping others. Many of these young men come from extremely difficult circumstances and I want them to know that we care about them and that they can do anything they want to do.”
Bonnie Brae’s Chief Executive Officer, Paul Rieger, is grateful to have Matt’s support and advocacy, “Matt brings a heart for our mission and compassion for the challenges many of our boys face. He also recognizes the importance of connecting others to the mission, and building a network of support: knowing that while individually we can all do small things, together we can do great things. This is incredibly important as Bonnie Brae seeks to impact more lives in our second century.”
Professionally, Matt spent more than 30 years in the pharmaceutical industry with companies such as Galderma, Berlex and Intendis before going into business for himself as the Founder of Mirada Pharmaceuticals, which is currently in the early stages of product development. A native of New Jersey, Matt grew up in West Virginia, attended Marshall University and spent several years in Florida before settling down in Basking Ridge in the late 1990s.
Matt, Tracy and their daughter Lucia love to travel and are self-described “foodies.” They enjoy spending time at their home in Florida, dining out, cooking and being with their beloved animals which include 4 dogs and 7 birds. Their greatest joy comes from the charitable work that they do and Matt is looking forward to being able to make a difference in some small way for the Bonnie Brae boys.
