From CEO, Bill Powers: As our staff- Rashon and Brandon- and our Ambassadors- Josh, Wendell, Edwin , Oguzhan, Will, and Randal- are setting up tables to begin to serve bag lunches to homeless men, women, and children on a brisk Friday evening in downtown Manhattan I notice that there are two women sleeping in doorways across the street. They are sleeping on hard concrete steps, a blanket on top for some warmth, and a plastic bag of clothes for a pillow. There are street lights directly shining down on them and taxis roll by just a few feet from their sleeping area. In the richest city in the world it is difficult to understand how so many people can barely survive. But the Ambassadors do their job. They work hard. They talk with the homeless. They make certain that the children receive more than their share. Feeding the homeless in New York with the Bridges crew is the most vital work performed by the Ambassadors.
