Broadway is Now Officially Opened!

Bonnie Brae is Returning to Broadway on November 2, 2022

We have accessed our COVID protocols and Broadway’s re-opening, gauged our Matinee Theatre Group members’ feedback via a survey and made the decision regarding the Matinee Theatre 2022 – 2023 Season.  We are excited to Return to Broadway on November 2, 2022 to see Funny Girl starring Lea Michele in the role of Fanny!

If you are a lover of Broadway, then you have come to the right place! By subscribing to our Matinee Theatre Group you will be able to enjoy three shows this seasons and a portion of the proceeds enable us to improve the quality of care for the 100+ young women and men in crisis that we serve each day!

The Matinee Theatre Group was founded more than 60 years ago by some incredible women seeking to help make a difference for the youth served by Bonnie Brae. Funds raised from the program continue to provide vital support for Bonnie Brae, helping more than 285 historically underserved youth and their families each year. Your participation in this program directly impacts the young women and men we serve. Many of whom come to us abused, abandoned and neglected, and leave with the strength and confidence to pursue their dreams. If you’d like to see the impact of our work first-hand, we invite you to see our beautiful 100 – acre campus and take a tour. We believe you will be inspired.

The Matinee Theatre Group subscription includes your orchestra seat ticket (s), round trip bus transportation to and from the following locations: Basking Ridge Country Club and Canoe Brook Country Club and a tax deductible donation to Bonnie Brae and our youth. All buses pick up between 10:00 am and 10:15 am, arriving in the city around 12:00pm (members make their own plans for lunch prior to attending the show). We are more than happy to add additional buses, at additional pick-up locations if we have a minimum of 25 members from a specific location.
