NJPA Lifetime Achievement Award Presented to Dr. Ron Silikovitz

This past November, Bonnie Brae Psychologist, Ron Silikovitz, PhD was awarded the New Jersey Psychological Association (NJPA) Lifetime Achievement Award. This award is the associations highest honor and “recognizes exceptional leadership in the form of enduring and exemplary contributions to NJPA, over a sustained period of time, which collectively, has significantly enhanced the association’s ability to positively impact the lives and careers of its membership, as well as advancing the field of psychology in New Jersey, and beyond.”
Dr. Silikovitz has shown enduring and exemplary service to NJPA for 28 years in a variety of leadership roles: secretary and treasurer on the NJPA Executive Board; member and chair of Committee on Legislative Action; Board of Trustee member; secretary, treasurer, and president of Essex-Union Association of Psychologists; Forensic Committee co-chair; Ethics Committee member and secretary; and has recently taken on the role of NJPA-Board of Psychological Examiners Liaison. He has positively impacted many lives through his many contributions to NJPA, EUCAP, New Jersey and beyond.
Dr. Silikovitz has served Bonnie Brae youth for more than 30 years. Clinical Director Jamie Rau shared, “I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. On Silikovitz for the past 25 years. Incredibly his tenure with Bonnie Brae is more than 30 years of service. I was able to attend the ceremony where Dr. Silikovitz was presented with the lifetime achievement award.
