Bonnie Brae Welcomes New Trustee, Lesley Rogers, to Board

Bonnie Brae’s Chief Executive Officer, Paul Rieger and Board of Trustees President, Robert Courtemanche are pleased to announce that Lesley Rogers has joined the Bonnie Brae Board of Trustees.
A native of Plainfield, Lesley is no stranger to Bonnie Brae’s mission of Empowering youth and families to achieve small victories every day. Friends with fellow Trustee and Grandson of Bonnie Brae’s founder Ted Osborne, Lesley and her husband Randy have attended Bonnie Brae’s annual Tartan Ball for many years. They both have a deep appreciation for the high quality, comprehensive care that Bonnie Brae provides for individuals struggling with mental instability and behavioral health challenges. Lesley is also cognizant of the fact that this good, quality care can be both hard to find, and not accessible to everyone. “I appreciate the comprehensiveness of Bonnie Brae’s program, looking at the ‘whole person’ as opposed to simply their issues. They take the time to care for these young men on the clinical level, but also on the personal level, teaching them life skills like budgeting and how to manage their free time. Serving on Bonnie Brae’s Board is a way for me to give back to families who are struggling and need this level of care and support, but perhaps cannot afford it on their own.”
Bonnie Brae’s Chief Executive Officer Paul Rieger is grateful to have Lesley’s support: “Lesley has a heart for our mission, the young people and families we serve, as well as an appreciation for the depth of resources Bonnie Brae needs to provide to help heal families. Her advocacy along with the advocacy of our entire Board is crucial as we seek to help even more youth and families. I’m grateful she has chosen to share her time and talents with Bonnie Brae.”
Raised by parents who were school teachers in northern New York, Lesley has long been a for proponent of high quality education, supporting her alma mater, Williams College and serving on the Board of the Parents Association at the Wardlaw Hartridge School where her children attended. In addition to her heart for Bonnie Brae’s mission, Lesley brings a rich background in accounting and software expertise. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Williams College and her MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, after which she worked as a CPA and then in Risk Management for many years. Lesley currently serves as a Senior Solutions Consultant for Leap the Pond, which provides customized cloud-based accounting software to businesses.
