John Mopper, MA, LPC got started in the field of mental health a little later in life. After having a series of different jobs in his 20’s, from different sales positions to working in the music industry, he eventually decided to go back to school to obtain his graduate degree at the age of 30. He went on to work at one of New Jersey’s largest partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, obtaining trainings from everything from DBT to Ericksonian Hypnosis. At the age of 40, John and his wife, Michele, founded Blueprint Mental Health, an outpatient mental health practice with a total of 10 clinicians, all focused on offering the highest quality of clinical care in a way that doesn’t feel clinical at all.
In his spare time, he enjoys volunteering as an EMT for his local rescue squad, and most recently, training in mixed martial arts. He’s also into music, cooking, reading, and spending time with his pups, Toby and Charlie.
