39th Tartan Ball

Since 1986, our signature social event, The Tartan Ball has been a night to remember. It's an occasion to gather with old and new friends, a time to build up our community, a moment to celebrate our youth and their small victories, and an opportunity to raise critically needed funds that ensure our youth can heal, learn, and grow in a safe and caring environment. This year, we are honored to recognize Senator Anthony M. Bucco with the Red Bandanna Award. A lifelong Morris County resident, Senator Bucco has dedicated his career to public service, currently serving as Senate Republican Leader since 2019 after nearly a decade in the General Assembly. A partner at Murphy McKeon, P.C., he specializes in local government law. His advocacy for mental health and substance abuse programs includes co-founding the Daytop drug and alcohol center and serving on the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse. Since 1998, he’s been a Morris County Sheriff's Crime Stoppers commissioner and a 45-year Boonton Volunteer Fire Department member. Senator Bucco and his wife, Amy, are proud parents of six children and grandparents to five, all residing in Boonton. We are deeply grateful for his enduring support of Bonnie Brae and his commitment to empowering youth and strengthening communities. Hear below from our board president, Betty Cass-Schmidt.
