Bonnie Brae’s Brozowski Liberty House – “A New Day for Bonnie Brae”
In March of 2015 we welcomed 5 young men to their new home in Bridgewater, New Jersey, Brozowski Liberty House. Bonnie Brae was awarded the first contract by the State of New Jersey to open a transitional living home for young men ages 18-21. It’s a new day for Bonnie Brae! With this new home we are able to do more. We are giving our young men the chance to develop and hone their employment and life skills. We are forging partnerships that are helping our young men with education, vocational training and job placement. We are the bridge for these young men to become productive adults.
At Brozowski Liberty House residents are learning how to independently manage their time, attending school and juggling jobs and community activities. They are also learning other essential life skills, including home maintenance, meal preparation, laundry, personal finance, and how to use public transportation. This vital transition period builds and reinforces both competence and confidence in these vulnerable young men, dramatically improving the chances of a successful move to independent life.
You can make a difference for generations of young men who’s lives will be changed because of Brozowski Liberty House – giving them hope and opportunities for their futures. We still have opportunities available to support this vital project:
