Introduce Bonnie Brae to your friends and contacts by hosting and sponsoring your own event at your home or venue of your choice. Or, consider hosting your own fundraiser – have a birthday party and donate the proceeds to Bonnie Brae or, if you are an athlete, raise funds for us in your next race. Take a tailgate at our Polo match and organize a bus to bring a group from your area, take a table at our Tartan Ball, work together to create/obtain an auction item, or join our Matinee Theatre Group.
Many of our boys don’t have families to cheer them on as they participate in sports activities. Come and support them as they play and compete!
Help us to care and recognize the caretakers of our boys and young men. For $3,000 your group can
sponsor our Annual Staff Recognition Ceremony where we take a moment to honor and appreciate those
on the front lines of our organization.
Each holiday season, our staff works tirelessly to make the boys in our care feel special. This
includes special celebrations on campus, as well as a visit from Santa with a sleigh full of toys. It is a true highlight for our boys as many haven’t ever had a special Christmas. Help our boys by collecting gift cards or donations that our staff can use to purchase special gifts for them and give them a holiday to remember. We welcome gifts from $10-$10,000! (Come back and help our staff wrap them!)
Share your time and your talents by assisting on one of our special event committees. We host three events that have vibrant committees—Our Tartan Ball in February, Our Tartan Golf Classic in September and our Polo Classic in June. Help us plan and raise much needed funds.
Introduce your peers or the next generation to Bonnie Brae by having us come and make a presentation at your organization , community group, former high school or college. Educate and raise awareness of Bonnie Brae. Introduce our boys to your business so they can see first hand the opportunities that are out there.
Have an idea for an event or competition? Let us know. Organize an art show, talent show, or
competition involving the community and have the proceeds benefit Bonnie Brae. Or, have your group come to our campus and work on a special improvement project—cleaning, painting, etc. We are here to help and open to your new ideas!
Participate in or organize a race/athletic event and make Bonnie Brae the beneficiary of your efforts. Create an on-line fundraising initiative and raise awareness, get in shape and help our boys in the process.
Sports and recreation are important to the growth and development of our young men. Participation not
only teaches new skills, but also how to problem solve and work together as a team. We have
opportunities for both school team sponsorship as well as our recreational teams. Team Sponsorship—$2,000.
Nothing creates holiday spirit more than a home that is decorated in the spirit of the season. Provide and assist our young men as they “deck the halls” of their cottages. $100-$1,000 opportunities.
Our young men need assistance with their schoolwork as well as with college preparation .
Make a regular commitment to prepare a meal for and enjoy dinner with the young men in our Bound Brook, New Brunswick or Bridgewater homes. Bring your famous lasagna and while dining, offer them an education on your profession and your career path.
During the spring and summer months, one of the highlights each week is when we come together as a
community to share a lunch time barbecue on our beautiful campus. Help to prepare and serve
Join us on campus at our “Career Fair” and educate our young men on your career path and opportunities
available to them.
Help us host our young alumni at the end of August for an afternoon barbecue and various on campus,
Each spring our young men prepare, plant and harvest an organic garden. Assist them with this activity and
help them reap, for many, their first ever harvest.
Join our young men for some good old fashioned fun and games.
Sponsor and send our young men on a trip to Washington DC, a New York Museum, sporting event or play.
Help us recognize and reward them for their good behavior, while also providing them with an educational
opportunity. Trip sponsorship—$3,000
