Registered Nurse
Full time, part time and per-diem opportunities available.
Registered nurses provide health services to our resident and day students. We seek motivated and energetic RN's who are interested in making a difference in the lives of troubled boys. BSN preferred; NJ RN license required. Experience in substance abuse and primary care a plus.

A Full Time shift available (7 am – 3 PM, M- F) to motivated and energetic RN who is interested in making a difference in the lives of troubled boys by providing health service to our residents. Substance abuse and primary care experience a plus. BSN preferred/NJ RN (preferred) license required. Gathers Data related to health status of the children of the agency. Makes Assessments & evaluations on health status of the children. Works with physician & psychiatrist as required. Plans Interventions. Implements health education to residents and their families. Evaluates & documents child’s response to nursing interventions, prescribed treatment and medications. Assesses health status of injured or ill employees and makes necessary contacts and referrals. Assures confidentiality of all employee & child health records.
Assistant Director of Development
Job Summary:
Reports to and assists the Director of Development in all aspects of raising individuals, grants and corporations funding for Bonnie Brae. In particular, plans, manages and executes all Bonnie Brae special event activities and manages donor database. Develops a base of community support and seeks opportunities to engage the local community. Arranges for the donation of in-kind services and, as part of this position, participates in public speaking engagements, workshops and meetings to increase visibility of Bonnie Brae.
In addition the Assistant Director of Development will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
• Assist in planning and implementing a robust Development Plan, which will emphasize Major Gifts fundraising
• Oversee Marketing Aspect of Development (Brochures, Press, Web Promotional Materials)
• Develop and work within the scope of a budget for each special event.
• Assist event Committee Members and other volunteer staff in all aspects of events.
• Identify and assist in soliciting prospective event sponsors.
• Maintain and update records and files for each event, keeping accurate and exact data on all aspects of the event.
• Assist in managing and serve as staff liaison for volunteers of the Bonnie Brae Thrift Shoppe, Matinee Theater and other events.
Minimal Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required, related field preferred
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities / Experience:
Two years successful experience in a Development position
Working Knowledge of Microsoft Works 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Acrobat Pro 9
Records Management
Experience creating and managing budgets
Experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred but not required

Childcare Counselor
Currently we have openings for Childcare Counselors, which provide supervision, counseling, behavior management and monitors the basic needs of these boys who live in cottages on campus. Work with the interdisciplinary treatment team members to develop individual treatment plans which guide the counselor's interactions with each resident. The daily cottage program is conducted by the counselor to address group behavior and needs. This responsibility includes leading resident group meetings; coordinating recreation activities and participating in other group functions. Other responsibilities include physical plant management.

Shifts include 3 PM – 11 PM or 11 PM – 9 AM including weekends.
Bachelors Degree preferred and/or related experience. Related experience will be working with clients in a similar age group. Avid interest in teaming is required. Recreation experience a plus.
$29,870 – 30,900/yr (14.36 – 14.85/hr) to start. Bonus potential to earn 32K in first year. Potential to earn 35K/yr + OT after 2 years. Generous benefits and comprehensive training.
Volunteer Opportunity
Bonnie Brae seeks part time volunteers to help sort, tag, hang and display donated items in its Liberty Corner Thrift Shoppe. Shoppe open Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm and every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 10 am to 2 pm.
