90% of the money we receive is from the state and 10% is from donations and grants.

The Bonnie Brae boy
He is an at-risk youth between the ages of 8 - 18. He is classified as a special education student. He usually comes from an economically disadvantaged family. He most likely has been neglected, abandoned or abused.  Before coming to Bonnie Brae he has experienced between seven to nine out-of-home placements. Joe is such a boy. Read his story online.

The Federal government (Medicaid), the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Department of Health and the sending school districts partially fund the cost of services we provide.
