He is an at-risk youth between the ages of 8 - 18. He is classified as a special education student. He
usually comes from an economically disadvantaged
family. He most likely has been neglected, abandoned or
abused. Before coming to Bonnie Brae he has experienced
between seven to nine out-of-home placements. Joe is
