Bonnie Brae serves as a training facility for human
service professionals from throughout the united States

Interns from outside the United States are encouraged
to apply to work and learn at Bonnie Brae for a minimum
of one year.
Clinical Internship
Bonnie Brae has clinical internship opportunities for
1st and 2nd year Master students as well as for
post-graduates. With an on grounds certified special
education program, Bonnie Brae also has clinical
internship opportunities for its day treatment program.
Bonnie Brae offers flexible scheduling, including
evenings and weekends, nationally recognized training
opportunities in family therapy and the treatment of
sexually abusive youths and individual and group
supervision.
Clinical interns can enhance their clinical skills by
providing individual, group and family therapy under the
supervision and guidance of qualified task supervisors.
Clinical interns can participate in intakes assessments,
treatment planning and discharge planning. Bonnie Brae
has had a commitment to being a teaching facility for
more than a decade.
Research Interns
The Evaluation and Research Department at Bonnie Brae
is looking for smart, motivated, go-getters to work in
our team-oriented, friendly environment. The candidates
will have a major in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal
Justice or social science related field. He or she will
have strong computer, verbal and written communications
skills, and a willingness to learn.
DUTIES WHICH WILL ENABLE YOU TO LEARN THE TENETS OF
APPLIED EVALUATION AND RESEARCH: Locating & telephone
interviewing former clients/residents, their families,
probations officers and state social service workers.
Collecting psycho-social information on emotionally
disturbed adolescent males. Data entry & filing. Review
data for accuracy through cleaning and analyzing using
the statistical software package SPSS for the social
sciences. Create and maintain databases using Excel,
Access and SPSS. Graphing, charting and presenting data.
Assisting in literature reviews, summarizing articles
and preparing visual and oral presentations. Interacting
with different social service entities such as DYFS,
Probation, Detention, group homes and independent living
facilities. Receive invaluable, applied, practical
training experience in the process of conducting
evaluation and research. If you are uncertain whether
