Bonnie Brae is a private, nonprofit residential treatment and special education center for troubled males ages 11 to 18 from throughout the state of New Jersey. Most of these children have been referred by the Department of Children and Families and arrive at Bonnie Brae after an average of eight out-of-home placements, including juvenile centers, foster homes and psychiatric hospitals. Bonnie Brae's skilled staff of professionals educate and counsel these children giving them back a piece of their childhood, and providing them with the skills and stability to build their lives as productive citizens.
