William M. Powers, MPA, MHA - Chief Executive Officer With an undergraduate degree from Colgate University and graduate degrees in both public and hospital administration from Cornell University, Bill Powers has worked for emotionally disturbed children and their families in positions of increasing responsibility for more than 30 years. As a “hands on” manager, Mr. Powers has served with distinction as Acting Director of Child Mental Health Services for the State of Delaware, Vice President for Programs at KidsPeace, Pennsylvania, and most recently Executive Director of Christie School, Marylhurst, Oregon. . Mr. Powers serves on the board of the American Association of Children’s Residential Centers (AACRC) and the National Advisory Committee on Residential Care for the Child Welfare League of America (CWLA). Mr. Powers has written several articles for professional journals and has presented workshops at local, state, and national conferences.

Lew Jarrett, M.A. – Chief Operating Officer
Lew Jarrett joined the staff of Bonnie Brae on August 1,
2004 as Chief Operating Officer. Jarrett, who most
recently served as Director of Therapeutic and
Specialized Programs for KidsPeace, has over 26 years of
experience working with emotionally disturbed children
and their families.
Jarrett managed the initial expansion of KidsPeace from
its original headquarters in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania,
and was instrumental in its out-of-state expansion. As
liaison to the administrative staff, Jarrett coordinates
all therapeutic and operational activities, manages
operations to assure compliance with quality standards,
and oversees the implementation of quality programs and
support services.

Nancy P. Hoffmann - Director of Development
Nancy Hoffmann joined Bonnie Brae on June 23, 2008. Nancy served for over 15 years as the Executive Director of the Greater North Jersey Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. She also worked for the March of Dimes as Associate Executive Director. More recently she has provided fundraising leadership for the Greater Newark Conservancy and Summit Speech School in New Providence.
Nancy is very familiar with conducting large fundraising events such as walkathons, two-day bike tours, golf tournaments and benefit dinners. She is also experienced at managing major donor, capital and planned giving campaigns.
Born and raised in Manhattan, Nancy attended Loyola University in Rome, Italy and Chicago and is a graduate of Ramapo College in New Jersey.

Ann W. Zouvelekis, MBA, CPA – Chief Financial
Officer
Ann Zouvelekis joined Bonnie Brae on August 7, 2006 as
Chief Financial Officer (CFO). She is responsible for
the direction of financial activities of the agency
including coordination of budgets and operating results.
She directs the organization's financial planning,
reporting, and controls as well as its relationship with
banking institutions, the financial community and
outside auditors in keeping with Finance Committee
policies.
In addition, Ann assists in the administration of
various employee benefits plans such as life, health,
dental, and disability insurance, pension plans,
vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and
unemployment. Ann has 23 years of experience working in
accounting and finance.

Vanita Braver, M.D. – Psychiatric Medical Director
Dr. Vanita Braver is a board certified child and
adolescent psychiatrist as well as the psychiatric
medical director at Bonnie Brae. Psychiatric services
include ongoing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment
and treatment from a developmental perspective.
Dr. Braver is also known as “Dr. Vanita,” the children’s
picture book author of the series, “Teach Your Children
Well.” The Child & Family Press of the Child Welfare
League of America (CWLA) is publishing the series. The
first book in the series, Pinky Promise, (release date
11-1-04) is dedicated to Bonnie Brae.

Donna M. Crane, M.A. -- Director of Education
As Director of Education, Ms. Crane oversees the staff
of the education department and administers all aspects
of the education program, including curriculum
development, budget, quality assurance and physical
plant. She works closely with Bonnie Brae's residential
and clinical departments on program development and
goals. Ms. Crane has over 26 years of experience in
working with adolescent boys in a residential treatment
setting.

Phil Errico, BA – Director of Residential Programs
As Director of Residential Programs, Phil Errico
supervises Bonnie Brae’s team of program coordinators,
childcare supervisors, intermediate supervisors, the
recreation coordinator and the administrative assistant.
He ensures that all quality improvement requirements, as
well as standards of all licensing bodies governing
childcare practices, are met.
In addition, Errico works with an internal
administrative team to create policies, assist in the
admissions and discharge process, acts as a resource to
the children’s’ treatment teams and a serves as a
liaison to community agencies.

Kathy Lewis, PsyD. – Director of Quality Assurance
and Improvement
Dr. Lewis is responsible for the design, development,
implementation and evaluation of Bonnie Brae’s
data-driven comprehensive performance improvement
system. In addition, she ensures agency compliance with
regulatory and accrediting bodies, serves as the
agency’s Health Insurance Portability and Accountability
Act (HIPAA) Privacy Officer, and oversees the effective
implementation of Bonnie Brae’s electronic records
systems.

James P. Rau, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., Clinical
Director
James Rau brings over 17 years of clinical and
administrative experience to Bonnie Brae. He is
responsible for all treatment team functions, including
treatment planning, discharge planning and clinical
services for the residential and day population. Rau
provides clinical supervision for a staff of 12 master
level clinicians. He has provided clinical internship
opportunities for graduate students from Seton Hall
University, Rutgers University, Kean University and,
most recently, New York University.
